My name is Michael Webber. I have been a conservative Evangelical Christian for over 30 years. When I heard of the doctrine of Universal Salvation my reaction was the same as most Christians, the bible clearly teaches that non-believers will endure eternal punishment. I wanted to produce some youtube videos debunking the doctrine but first I needed to learn how they were defending it.
To my utter amazement I found the doctrine of Universal Salvation had significant scriptural support and notable early church fathers taught the doctrine. They called it in Greek “the apokatastasis“, meaning the restoration of all things to the original condition that God had intended. I discovered our modern bible translations have been slanted to support the doctrine of eternal punishment. My reaction was that of dismay, anger, and joy all at the same time. Christ literally is “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world”, just as John the Baptist proclaimed.
The doctrine I uncovered in researching this subject was so profound I had to share it with the world. This truly is “good news of great joy which will be to all people” just as the angels proclaimed to the shepherds that first Christmas night.
This blog is dedicated to advancing the good news that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. The Total Victory of Christ.
